ZEST is back for its fourth edition, and this year we continue in our tradition of giving you inspiring keynotes, fiery debates and engaging discussion panels on all things tech and innovation. We have a great line up of speakers including local tech heroes and experts flying in from across the globe. The date is set and the clock is ticking – make sure you join us on the 3 October! #ILLBETHERE, right?
We still need a couple more days to finalise this year’s programme, but we can still give you a quick teaser on the main content tracks for ZEST 2019.
First up, the track “New Frontiers” will focus on how technological progress is cutting across verticals and reshaping boundaries for various industries. Expect speakers to discuss new possibilities in business enabled by emerging technologies. We will have experts on AI, internet of things, quantum communications and space-tech, amongst others.
Another track, “Digital Health”, focuses on how technology is changing the health services and surrounding industry for good. This theme presents insights on the exciting opportunities that come about when technology and the health industry converge and delves into the implications of these changes on business and society.
On the latter point, the track of “Digital Society” takes a broader view of how society is responding to the opportunities and challenges brought about by technological developments. Expect contributions on tech in education and employment, insights on the phenomena of digital influence, and an engaging keynote on DLT in sports and entertainment.
The track of “Governance and Tech” explores themes such as technology’s impact on governance, sovereignty and identity in a context increasingly influenced by big tech. You can also expect a discussion on dealing with regulatory compliance, and whether this is a blessing or a curse!
Last, but certainly not least, the startup-focused track returns at this year’s ZEST. “Start up right!” explores various themes relevant to all budding tech entrepreneurs, with sessions touching up on many startup aspects, such as approaches to sales, pitching and branding your startup, and finding growth-support.
Promising, no? We’ll have more news to share in the coming days, so follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay in the loop! And, since you’re here, why don’t you have a look at our confirmed speakers? See you at ZEST.
